2020 changed everything.
You can pretend everything’s going back to normal.
Or you can grow.
2020 was an incredible year. And that’s an incredible understatement.
You can choose to focus on all the many negatives. Or you can choose to focus on the positives.
Many people found themselves out of work, or working from home. And this created the perfect environment to reinvent yourself. From unemployed to self-employed. From working fewer hours from home from what used to be your 9-5, to finally having time to build that side-business you’ve been dreaming about for years.
Let me tell you how this changed my business.
The Chinese symbol for crisis is the same as the one for opportunity. And this moment in history is an excellent time to decide which way you’ll look at things. I decided to see this as an opportunity to grow, try new things, help more people.
I feel particularly blessed because while many people around me found themselves out of work, I realized how very lucky I am to have a business that allows me to work from my laptop, pretty much when I feel like it.
I didn’t start out as a blogger, but with social media changing. Again. But perhaps more drastically than ever before, I thought the best way to get information out that would actually help people change the way they make a living would be by sharing information via blogging.
